The Opportunity:
We invite applicants for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associates (Grade 7) in Medical Image Processing and Surgical Robotics. The successful applicant will work on design of image guided algorithms for control of a robotic platform for lung interventions.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- PhD degree (or near completion) in computer science, robotics, or a closely related field (Desirable).
- Background in computer vision (Desirable).
- Application of AI in computer vision.
- Familiar with programming in C/C++ or python.
- Proficient oral and written English skills.
