Your role in our mission
- Participate with other senior leaders to translate strategic plans and goals into tactical plans and objectives for setting priorities. Be the decision maker for administrative or operational matters and ensure objectives are effectively achieved. Provide input to strategy setting
- Build and realize the strategy and lead internal business management functions for the organization, as well as guide the future growth and development of the organization
- Ability to facilitate dialogue and retrospectives with a diverse group of stakeholders and to review feedback to drive continuous improvement in tools, practices and processes within the organization
- Contribute to the overall architectural strategy of the IT organization. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and best practices.
- Direct the strategic and tactical business management goals for the team, building client driven technology teams improving the software quality, platform and technology service provided to the functional businesses.
- Build processes and policies that meet or exceed federal guidelines and requirements all while developing frameworks for operational effectiveness that ensure the technology portfolio and governance aligns to the firms’ strategic business goals and objectives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 7+ years’ experience with running medium to large/complex projects or teams with multiple interactions and dependencies
- Extensive people leadership experience in a large organization with layers of management directly reporting
- Demonstrated ability to define and communicate strategy and vision and influence across the Enterprise is essential
- Ability to identify, attract, recruit and hire talent, and to build high performing teams
- Ability to coach, mentor, and provide direct, timely performance feedback; experience setting direction, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability
- Working knowledge on DevOps/CICD with source control tools such as Git, familiar with Eclipse IDE or IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code.
- Good understanding of latest trends in the software development industry, including Cloud and Proficiency in Test/Behavior driven development.
- Working knowledge on languages and technologies such as Spring, Batch, Java, SQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Python, Node.js, Tanzu or Azure/AWS, DevOps and cloud engineering skills.
- In-depth data analytical skills with working knowledge on RDMS such as SQLServer, Postgresql, Oracle, ETL tools etc
- Hands on experience on Data reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI etc.
- Solid understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle and project management disciplines.
- Adept at requirements analysis, estimation, systems and application design, performance tuning and testing.
Minimum Education:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Information science required.
Minimum Related Work Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT with broad Health Care background; Must have experience handling Federal, State clients, Providers and Payers
- Experience designing and solving business problems with high configurability and customizability and a good understanding of S.O.L.I.D design principles.
- Experience with the design and development of complex systems and demonstrate strong logical and complex technical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with managing large sized team (15+)
