About the Role:

The Bioinformatics Scientist II will join an interdisciplinary team working with an unprecedented set of clinical DNA whole genome and exome sequence data and multiple epigenetic data types produced by novel R&D pipelines at Guardant Health. The scope of this project provides unique opportunities for developing and learning novel analytical methods for DNA sequencing data, including cell free DNA-based transcript expression and methylation data integrated with epigenetic data sets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with large, complex data sets. Tend to non-routine analysis problems, applying deep epigenetic knowledge to conduct end-to-end analysis of epigenetic cell-free nucleic acid NGS data.

• Development, continuous improvement, and validations of novel biomarkers for Guardant Health oncology products. 

• Develop or apply statistical methods and procedures to evaluate and validate Guardant Health technologies.

• Work with the Technology Development team to develop and analyze verification and validation experiments as part of regulatory submissions.

• Provide analytic support on individual samples and research activities.

• Develop scripts for research and development activities, and leverage cutting edge AI methods to continuously improve efficiency.

• Communicate research results through presentations and project reports as well as scientific publications.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistics, Biological Sciences, Cancer Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Computer Science

Your challenges:

• Mechanically and electrically build complex assemblies with a high degree of accuracy and quality.
• Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.

• Generate Quality reports, ECR’s and OR’s as deemed necessary for issues found during the build process and Inspections

Your Boarding Pass:

• 2+ years background in Robotics or Industrial Automation
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical circuits.
• Working knowledge of the following platforms, Microsoft Office, Google Doc’s, Windows 7/10 desktop and Linux embedded products.
• Knowledge of the following areas within embedded system development: circuit board testing and troubleshooting, commercial microprocessor platforms and architectures (eg, ARM), and memory management
• Knowledge of C/C++ and (optionally) .NET C#.  Can understand, develop, and debug low-level software routines as well as system-wide software architecture.

Seeking Oracle Analytics technologist to join the Guardian Financial Systems team within Corporate Technology.  The Analyst will support and develop data integrations and analytic reporting solutions. We ensure that critical security components are present throughout the infrastructure powering these services and that these components are kept up to date.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced detection logic to identify malicious activities and catch attackers across the M365 services.
• Analyse security threats to M365 and build monitoring components to address those threats.
• Build and manage robust data pipelines to ingest and process logs from various sources
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of these data pipelines to support real-time monitoring and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and running cloud services at large scale in C#, .Net or any high-level programming language.
• 5+ years technical engineering experience/knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise computing, IaaS and/or SaaS products.
• Excellent coding skills, strong understanding in OOPS, design patterns and their application.
• Ability to build and maintain data architectures, pipelines, and sets.
• Expertise in data mining, data storage, and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes.
• Experience with DevOps practices and managing CI/CD pipelines.
