As a Product Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, debug and maintenance of test programs that help deliver Micron’s world-class DRAM portfolio to market. A product test engineer can be passionate about the health and quality of the memory cells [DRAM features 16 billion cells in less than 80mm^2 of area] or passionate about high-speed interface and system level application testing. What’s Encouraged Daily:

• A successful test engineer must develop a good understanding of test equipment hardware, device knowledge and software systems.
• Develop, debug and support test programs from new product introduction phase up through high volume manufacturing
• Write test programs and support scripts in C++, Python
• Contribute input and feedback to help define next generation ‘design for test’ capabilities
• Analyze device and test flow data to make informed test coverage decisions
• Balance test time objectives while maintaining optimal yield and quality
• Collaborate with partners in Design and Product Engineering, Fab, Manufacturing, Yield Enhancement, Global Quality, Systems Integration Group, and Equipment Engineering teams to deliver the right test solution

How To Qualify:

Developing array core test solutions will require constant learning and continued technical growth. A successful candidate should understand hardware fundamentals and possess programming capability in a major language. Specific knowledge that’ll help:

• Basic R/L/C circuit knowledge
• Digital systems and logic gate representation
• Understanding of CMOS transistor operation
• Intermediate to advanced programming capability [C++ or Python]
• Basic Unix / Linux environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic statistics and data analytics

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Summary:

The candidate will play an integral role within the Fixed Income Client Reporting & Portfolio Analytics team based in Chicago. This individual will be supporting the Non-Investment Grade Fixed Income portfolio management teams and will be responsible for compiling portfolio and market-specific materials, including institutional client reporting, bespoke institutional client exhibits, and portfolio/product analytics. The Analyst will partner with Portfolio Management, Client Service, IT, Marketing, RFP, and Legal teams. They will be involved in a variety of strategic and tactical initiatives with the ability to gain meaningful exposure to projects across various initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the firm’s Non-Investment Grade strategies with requisite depth to be able to develop client reports and client analytics.
• Produce monthly client reports and data for institutional and sub-advised clients.
• Serve as the primary contact for data on portfolio exposures and summary statistics, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
• Provide portfolio analysis and reporting for High Yield and Senior Loan portfolios.
• Develop proficiency in key reporting tools; develop report content and partner with IT to drive enhancements to the end-client deliverables.
• Participate in firm-wide, client service-related strategic initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality with client information and data.
• Stay updated with market trends and developments in fixed income markets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Science, Math, or a related field preferred.
• 1-5 years post-graduate experience in a relevant field.
• Highly motivated team-player with a desire to work on a wide range of projects, collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teammates and subject matter experts, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of financial markets is preferred and interest in investment strategies and security analysis is a must.
• Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with programming (VBA, SQL, Python) is a plus.
• Experience in the development and construction of formula-driven spreadsheets, pivot tables, and macros.
• Analytical and comfortable working with and interpreting statistics and fixed income market data.
• Excellent attention to detail and accountability, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
