Business Operations Analyst

As an IT business analyst, you’ll develop a leading-edge human subject data research environment. Partnering with your team of data architects, DevSecOps engineers, data scientists, AI or ML engineers, and leading data visualization specialists, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather data requirements, and develop data use agreements. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating project research environments. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to application users and researchers. Work with us to make an impact by providing a research environment that supports warfighter resiliency.

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience with business processes, data analytics, general management consulting, project planning, and project management
  • Experience using Microsoft O365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience with data research
  • Knowledge of data use agreements, and the lifecycle management of DUAs
  • Knowledge of contract coordination with subcontractor and teammate staffing
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment, and coordinate with multiple levels of leadership
  • Ability to identify and facilitate research and analysis projects
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with consulting for the federal government, the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), or FEDSIM programs
  • Experience in the coordination of data flow and requirements
  • Experience leveraging process improvement methods such as Lean
  • Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
  • Experience developing statistical models and performing workflow analysis 
  • Knowledge of Human Capital Big Data (HCBD)
  • Knowledge of DoD methods, processing, tools, and data operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, Project Management, or Engineering Management
  • PMP or PMI Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

The Commercial Data Specialist is responsible for performing work activities included in the Route to Cash process for the Molson Coors organization.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees vendor activities of data collection and validation
  • Analyzes data to ensure data integrity for downstream processes
  • Identifies and resolves issues with data collected from the distributors and issues that prevent data from moving between systems 
  • Responsible to trouble shoot issues with Retail Outlet Master Data to ensure alignment of distributor sales to Miller Coors outlet is accurate and resolve distribution issues 
  • Manages translation of distributor territory agreements into high quality spatial data critical to the Information on Tap system utilized in Sales and Marketing business intelligence reporting and retail insights analytics
  • Manages association between location and retail master data to ensure data quality and integrity between systems, sources and information delivery by identifying issues, providing notification, participating in resolution and tracking
  • Performs analysis for internal and external customers including, but not limited to, distributor personnel, (field) sales, and Commercial team

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Required

  • Minimum 1 year experience on a similar position, involving quality data accuracy assurance
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Good practical knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, in particular) 
  • Very good analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Language skills: Advanced English level, both written and spoken

Preferred

  • Comprehensive data quality and data validation skills
  • Proficiency in data quality tools (Teradata, Webi, Salesforce)
