• You will understand our requirements and outcomes to ensure data-driven decision-making.
• You will conduct tailored analyses for specific products and operations, define critical business metrics, track them rigorously, and recommend continuous improvements.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have at least 4 years of experience in data-related or quantitative fields such as Analytics, Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• You are fluent with SQL, Python, R or other scripting/programming languages.
• You are experienced in handling large datasets and maintaining complex Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes.
• You have solid statistical knowledge and hands-on experience running and analysing controlled experiments.
• You are proficient in creating dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI or other visualisation tools.

De formation Bac+5, école d’ingénieur université ou équivalent, vous avez au moins 5 ans d’expérience dans la data dont 3 ans en Big Data, notamment sur les technologies mentionnées ci-dessus.

Vous aimez travailler en équipe, relever les défis techniques, conseiller et apporter votre valeur ajoutée à une équipe.

Vous savez être challengeant et leader envers le client et l’équipe de développement en ce qui concerne l’amélioration continue (processus de livraison, automatisation du testing/validation, maintenance des bonnes pratiques et performance des runs).

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing automation and AI bot solutions for teams within Operations (e.g. Customer Support, Content Operations). You will be implementing GPT solutions into our existing AI bots, conducting data reporting and analysis of bot activity, and facilitating daily communication with support agents and other stakeholders in the business.

What’s the role?

We are looking for a Staff Engineer to join the Data Platform team at Etsy. You’ll be a leader in our initiative, driving technical strategy and contributing directly to our most critical projects. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership. You’ll be responsible for guiding our tools and platforms towards a cohesive vision, ensuring they align with business priorities and unlock new opportunities by incorporating the latest industry capabilities. Position Overview

Vectra AI’s Security Research Team represents the core security knowledge and research capability within the company primarily tasked with powering our leading-edge technologies and aiding customers. As a member of the Vectra AI Security Research team, you will be part of a highly experienced organization and respected authority on security threats and attack techniques.

Serving in the role of Sr. Security Researcher, you will have a direct impact on the direction of the company by researching threats, understanding how they appear on the network and in the cloud, helping technically shape the product direction. Some of the specific responsibilities include:

• Perform leading edge security research for network based threats – systems analysis, APT threat modeling, tools assessment, network/protocol analysis, etc.

En tant que stagiaire au CEA-LETI (Institut de recherche technologique de CEA Tech), vous aurez l’opportunité de travailler au sein d’un environnement de recherche de renommée mondiale. Présentation de l’unité :
Situé à Grenoble, le Département DSYS du LETI conduit des travaux de recherche et développement (R&D) qui visent, la conception et la réalisation de solutions innovantes pour l’industrie au sens large (TPE, PME, ETI, GG) et pour des secteurs applicatifs très variés (transport, sécurité, biens de consommation, habitat, industrie, santé, …). Il s’appuie sur un socle d’expertises couvrant :

– Les communications au sens large (sans fil ou filaire ; courte et longue portée ; par ondes radio,
lumière, couplage inductif…),
– Les capteurs et les systèmes de capteurs miniatures,
– La gestion, la récupération et la conversion d’énergie
– La sécurisation des composants et systèmes électroniques et l’évaluation de leur vulnérabilité

En nous rejoignant, vous contribuerez au développement des nouveaux algorithmes de traitement du signal, de machine learning et d’IA utilisés dans l’industrie française et européenne de demain.

Description du poste :

Au sein du laboratoire des signaux et systèmes de capteurs vous travaillerez avec une équipe de 10 chercheurs.

L’apprentissage basée sur les données (apprentissage machine/machine learning) a révolutionné une grande variété de domaines. Par rapport à d’autres algorithmes de type systèmes experts, basés sur la connaissance, ils ont montré leur capacité à réaliser des tâches complexes (détection d’objets, traduction, synthèse de texte). Néanmoins, entraîner ces modèles nécessite une quantité importante de données, notamment s’il s’agit de réseaux de neurones profonds (deep learning). Par exemple, ChatGPT a été entraîné sur plusieurs centaines de GB.

Que faire pour d’autres tâches pour lesquelles les données d’entraînement sont difficiles ou couteuses à acquérir ? Ou qu’elles ne suffisent pas ? Depuis quelques années, un nouveau paradigme émerge, celui de combiner ces données à une connaissance a priori. En effet, on dispose souvent de connaissances sur la tâche, qui ne sont pas contenues dans les données d’entraînement. On sait par exemple que la sortie du modèle est toujours positive, qu’elle doit respecter la physique, etc. Ajouter cette connaissance permettrait d’atteindre les mêmes performances avec moins de données d’entrainement ou d’obtenir un modèle plus performant. Une des manière d’ajouter cette connaissance a connu un réel engouement : les réseaux de neurone informés par la physique ou physics-informed neural networks (PINNs). Cette méthode permet d’obtenir une solution qui respecte les données d’entrainement et également une équation physique.

Votre stage consistera à appliquer cette méthode dans le cas de la déformation d’une poutre métallique. Pour cela, plusieurs bases de données d’entrainement (expérimentales et synthétiques) ont déjà été acquises. Le laboratoire a également créé artificiellement des défauts sur cette poutre, qu’il faudra localiser.
Vous devrez pour cela :

1.       Réaliser une étude bibliographique sur les PINNs
2.       Appréhender et mettre en forme les bases de données
3.       Entraîner un premier réseau de neurones classique
4.       Entraîner un réseau de neurone informé par la physique
5.       Analyser vos résultats et éventuellement rédiger une publication
Durant tout votre stage, une attention particulière sera portée à l’organisation de votre code, le suivi de versions et sa documentation, ainsi qu’à l’analyse critique des résultats obtenus pour différents paramètres des algorithmes.

Profil du candidat

Qu’attendons-nous de vous ?

Vous préparez un diplôme de niveau Master 2 en université ou 3ème année d’école d’ingénieur, dans les disciplines suivantes : informatique, mathématiques, télécommunications.

Vous êtes passionné par la recherche scientifique et technologique et êtes reconnu pour votre rigueur, votre curiosité et votre d’enthousiasme pour résoudre des problèmes ouverts.

Vous possédez des connaissances en machine learning et deep learning et disposez idéalement d’une première expérience dans ces domaines. Toute expérience antérieure dans le domaine de la recherche sera valorisée, notamment la lecture d’articles scientifiques.
