Summary of Job Responsibilities

 

Enterprise Architect is responsible for integrating business and technology solutions inclusive of gaming related systems to achieve Sands business objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities

Enterprise Architect is responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise-wide, micro-service, service-oriented, and component-based architecture plans. This position supports development of enterprise architecture strategy, standards, patterns, position papers and engagement reporting.

 

The Enterprise Architect works with Business Engagement, Business Delivery and Solutions Design peers across the Sands properties to support intake of business requests, identifies opportunities to leverage reusable components from existing solutions, evaluates commercial products and considers the investment and resource requirements to develop an appropriate solution.

 

Enterprise Architect conducts analysis of technology trends, vendor/product lifecycles, regulatory conditions, and local market capabilities to determine recommended amendments to the enterprise architecture design standards.  

 

The Enterprise Architect performs regular reviews of proposed solution designs, vetting them against design patterns, defined technology standards, compliance requirements and best practices to ensure a reliable, secure solution is implemented.

 

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Sands’ policies, practices, and procedures.

 

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Eligibility

• Evidence of right to work in local jurisdiction (Singapore)
• Ability to obtain jurisdictional gaming license as required (GRA)

Years of Experience

• 10-15 years of relevant work experience

• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical peers and business stakeholders, as well as executive level management.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a multicultural, multinational environment and in cross-functional matrixed teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read Chinese a plus.

Security and Privacy

• Knowledge of secure coding best practices and security framework standards: NIST, COBIT, ISO.
• Experience architecting solutions that comply with compliance regulations such as: PCI, GLBA, SOX, Basel III
• Experience implementing controls for privacy legislation such as: HIPAA, COPPA, FCRA, GLB and GDPR
• Experience architecting networks and implementing changes which avoid disruption of ongoing operations or increase risk of compromise.

Technology Skills Requirements

• Responsible for delivering enterprise architecture designs and ensuring solution meets business objectives and technology best practice.
• Develop architecture design and oversee deployment to ensure project is successful.
• Provide deep subject matter expertise across multiple disciplines including IT infrastructure, security, business application and system integration.
• Good technical knowledge on cloud offerings including, but not limited to, Alibaba, Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiar with Enterprise Architecture concepts, design principles, best practices, standards, and processes.
• Experience and good technical knowledge in container platforms and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Good technical knowledge of Agile software development principles, Continuous Integration and Deployment (CICD), and DevOps
• Knowledge of software vulnerabilities and remediation (OWASP/SANS CWE)
• Experience implementing identity strategies and application integrations including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
• Good understanding of network topologies, protocols, and standards
• Experience in big data and machine learning.
• Proficiency in coding in languages such as C#, Python, Java
• Experience in developing secure Integration APIs, GraphQL and deployment on API Gateways such as Azure APIM GW, MuleSoft API GW etc.
• Experience in front end development including React Native, or other front end development framework or Native iOS or Android Mobile applications.
• Ability to perform code-reviews both from functional and security aspect.
• Ability to perform technical due diligence on platforms and solutions when limited or no documentation is available.
• Ability to grasp wide range of technologies from IOT, Edge, Datacenter, and cloud to offer solutions.

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas CityThe Economic Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is recruiting for the position of Research Associate (RA). The Department conducts innovative analysis and research on a variety of topics, including international trade, macroeconomics, monetary policy, labor economics, fiscal policy, energy economics, and payments systems. The Department has openings for RAs to start mid-summer 2025.
This is an excellent position for someone who is passionate about research and considering a Ph.D. in economics. RAs develop technical skills, such as programming and working in a High-Performance Computing environment, and are exposed to a broad range of economic research topics. Most RAs stay with the department for two to three years, at which point many return to graduate school. RAs have gone on to Ph.D. programs at Boston College, Columbia University, New York University, Stanford University, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, and University of Wisconsin.

Key Activities:

• Working with Ph.D. economists on policy briefings and academic research projects.

• Gathering and analyzing data, programming economic models, and preparing charts for presentations on economic and financial conditions.

• More experienced RAs participate in econometric or theoretical research, write for Bank publications, and deliver speeches to civic and educational groups.

Required Education and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or a closely related field, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science.

• Coursework or experience in economics required; coursework or experience in econometrics, mathematics, statistics, and computer science highly desirable.

• Proficiency in programming languages and statistical software packages, such as Stata, R, Python, or Matlab, highly desirable.

• Strong academic record and experience with empirical research and data analysis highly desirable.
