Ideogram is a generative AI startup looking for a dedicated Frontend Engineer to join the team. Our mission is to help people become more creative. We are developing state-of-the-art AI tools that will make creative expression more accessible and efficient. We are pushing the limits of what’s possible with AI, with a focus on creativity and a high standard for trust and safety. Our headquarters is in downtown Toronto, and we have a small presence in NYC.

Founding team

Our founding team consists of world-renowned AI experts including Mohammad Norouzi, Jonathan Ho, William Chan, and Chitwan Saharia. This team has previously led transformative AI projects at Google Brain, UC Berkeley, CMU, and the University of Toronto. Our fundamental work in AI includes: Imagen: Google’s text-to-image system, Imagen Video for video synthesis, Denoising Diffusion Models, which is the foundation of the recent generative media transformation.

About The Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you will develop a sleek and engaging user interface in a large-scale consumer web environment. You will play an important role in each step of the product development process, from conceptualization to implementation to release; from rapidly prototyping, running A/B tests, to architecting and building solutions that can scale to support millions of users.

• Your ideas will help shape the direction of our product(s)

• You will build out consumer-facing features to power the future of inspiration to the planet

• You will learn about new technologies and discuss solutions to problems

• You will own end-to-end feature development

• You will write clean, testable, peer-reviewed code

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years developing innovative and delightful consumer experiences at scale in HTML, CSS, JS, React, Angular, NodeJS, Flask, etc

• Background and experience with modern design processes and tools like Figma

• Experience building user friendly experiences based on design and product requirements.

• Knowledge of core CS fundamentals

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-starter – able to come up to speed on complex, difficult concepts with minimal assistance

• Proven track record of communicating complex technical issues across teams

• Curiosity and excitement about generative AI technology and its impact on the creative economy

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields

Our team is responsible for the E-commerce search product, including making search strategies and search front-end interaction design. We focus on increasing income and creating a good e-commerce ecosystem.

Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:

Responsibilities:
-Develop metrics and dashboard to measure business performance
-Identify trend and pattern from data and provide attribution of metric movement
-Provide actional insights to improve the quality of Tiktok US logistics and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
– Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in quantitative fields such as Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operation Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc
– Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2025
– Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
– To succeed in the role, you need to be a proactive, self-driven and impact driven person
– Be able to work with cross-functional teams in a fast speed environment

Preferred Qualifications:
– Proficient in SQL and one of the main data visualization tools such as tableau
– E-commerce or experience in supply-chain&logistics is strongly preferred

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description Intern (hourly)

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $33.25- $33.25. We cover 100% premium coverage for Full-Time intern medical insurance after 90 days from the date of hire. Medical coverage only, no dental or vision coverage.​

Our time off and leave plans are: Paid holidays and paid sick leave. The sick leave entitlement is based on the time you join.​

We also provide mental and emotional health benefits through our Employee Assistance Program and provide reimbursements for your mobile phone expense. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.​
