Job Description

Lead software engineer eager to lead a team working on product development using dotnet/C#, MSSQL, AWS, containerized services, and SPA-based UI applications. You will mentor your team, provide software design and architecture proposals to leadership, ensure the quality of and responsible for the product you are working on. You will be hands-on programming new features or pair programming with other developers, performing code reviews and creating technical designs. You will work in an agile environment and be part of a large technology group with many product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Take the Product Owner’s vision and requirements and turn them into practical software designs.
• Define standards, best practices, and patterns that developers must follow.
• Lead teams building products that involve RESTful, multiple services, database systems, caching systems, logging, and APM integrations
• Coach developers through code reviews and other means to help them grow and adapt to the architecture designated for the project
• Assess and provide recommendations for new systems that would benefit the product and work with vendors to design the integration and a migration path if needed.
• Create Technical specifications, Architecture diagrams, and presentations to Architects and Technical leads for system or design proposals.
• Provide technical direction to UX, Creative teams, and UI developers to find the most appropriate solution and application architecture that meets the requirements and other aspects of the project.
• Run deployment calls, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage DevOps processes.

Qualifications

• with dotnet and C#
• with relational databases, MSSQL or PostgreSQL
• building cloud-hosted containerized applications
• debugging, monitoring, and performance-tuning production applications
• working version control systems such as Git, defining SCM strategies, and managing branching for deployments, hotfixes and ongoing work
• Prompt Engineering, working with LLM APIs, integrating ML models in production services and pipelines
• Data systems like Databricks or Snowflake
• Understanding of data security and compliance
• Data pipelining, ingestion, transformation, cleaning and preprocessing strategies
• Python and working knowledge of Python ML Libraries

Intermediate knowledge of:

• building web applications that utilize SPA UI frontends interacting with RESTful APIs
• different architectural styles, e.g., Onion, DDD, Ports and Adapters, and event-driven architectures
• working with Cache, Search, and Messaging systems
• writing unit tests and working with OOP, design patterns, and writing clean code
• microservices and related architectures and patterns
• various types of databases, optimizing queries, designing schemas and ETL processes
• containerized applications, IaC, and orchestration solutions

Additional Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant development experience

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $106,500 – $167,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. We’re looking for a Sales Operations Lead to join Team Snapchat! The mission of the Sales Operations Strategy group is to maximize ads business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to Leadership – through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. You’ll partner with Sales and cross-functional teams (i.e. Product Marketing, Finance, etc.) to set strategy, generate impactful insights, provide recommendations and manage commercial execution-oriented initiatives. 

Working from our London office, you’ll directly support the EMEA Large Client Solutions (LCS) team in efforts to amplify revenue, improve sales productivity, set business rhythm and operations, and directly shape the future of the Snapchat experience for advertisers.

What you’ll do:

• Establish and embed critical metrics to guide and evaluate sales team behaviors 

• Systematize best practices in the sales process and continuously improve critical workflows.

• Support the LCS weekly revenue reporting cadence, including development of materials and ad hoc analyses, reinforce the operational backbone of the team. 

• Optimize books of business on a quarterly basis and support quarterly goal setting including sales team and sales rep quotas

• Work closely with the EMEA Leadership team to identify, define, launch and operationalize initiatives, including:

  • Identifying areas of market opportunity and gaps in order to prioritize customer segments accordingly

  • Deploying data-driven strategies related to global resourcing, sales effectiveness, and go-to-market programs.

  • Pinpointing revenue blockers and working cross-functionally to resolve them

  • Surfacing cross-sell and upsell opportunities to the Sales team, evaluate impact 

• Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company and represent the market and/or Sales Operations in cross-functional/leadership discussions

• Develop and package recommendations for communication to Sales Managers and leadership

• Establish and support a unified go to market strategy across EMEA

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

• 7+ years experience involving analytical rigor and program management/operational skills typically seen in, but not restricted to, functions like Management Consulting, Sales/Business Operations, Finance or other similar functions.

• Experience in using SQL and/or Python. 

• Experience with ML forecasting models.

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as Looker, Looker Data Studio, BigQuery; proficiency with Salesforce, CRM Analytics.

• Strong proficiency in excel with demonstrated experience in building excel models to solve business problems end-to-end.

• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

• Experience approaching problems using a structured, analytical mindset, providing practical business insights from data, with strong business acumen and judgment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills suited for audiences ranging from customers to sales teams to Snap’s business leadership

• Best-in-class partnership with Sales and cross-functional teams, including an ability to navigate complex discussions, challenge stakeholders respectfully and manage disagreement effectively

• Proficiency in developing clear and compelling recommendations with follow through on execution once recommendations are adopted
