This high-impact data-focused team is at the heart of all major II initiatives and efforts. This team interacts with all levels of the organization and leverage data and analysis to communicate and recommend solutions to drive strategic innovation and operating efficiencies. The Analyst position plays a key role in establishing and maintaining workflows, processes, reporting, and procedures for data owned by Individual Investors in support of business and technology needs.

Role Summary

The position requires both a technical and business understanding of data as well as strong communication and project management skills. This associate will develop data visualizations to assist business stakeholders across a variety of areas/departments. May partner with more senior team members as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analyzing and defining business issues, opportunities, and enhancements and implementing business solutions.
  • Develops and delivers both informational and decision-seeking reports, analyses, and/or presentations.
  • Independently applies established processes to gather, organize, and review operational data/metrics; analyzes and synthesizes the data; compiles data into reports or presentations. Contributes to development of new processes or procedures for required analytics.
  • Provides transparency in project progress and exercises sound judgment to effectively anticipate and mitigate major risks across the project life cycle.
  • Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues.
  • Reviews results to ensure they address identified business needs.
  • Prepares or reviews drafts of visualizations. Responds to ad-hoc requests of managers and/or other leaders. May translate complex technical concepts and analyses to nontechnical audiences.
  • Works with business subject matter experts to define requirements. May draft project plans, use cases, user stories, or business cases. Oversees internal and external groups in the execution of the plan.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 2+ years of total relevant work experience

 Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of Project Management and Change Management
  • Working knowledge of common Agile frameworks
  • Proficient with Tableau and Rally
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Excellent written communication and verbal skills with partners at all levels within the organization, including senior management
  • Strong knowledge of process development and associated operational functions
  • Strong relationship building skills, demonstrated consultative approach, and influencing skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with business partners and technical partners alike
  • Ability to work multi-functionally with others in team environment as well as independently and with minimal direction
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools, concepts, and processes quickly
  • Ability to successfully prioritize to meet deliverables
  • Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

Regional Requirements:

Base salary range:

$73,000 – $125,000 USD

For the location of:

Colorado

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
