What you will do and achieve

You will be the primary deployment engineer for all new customer deployments in our SaaS environment or the customer’s cloud tenant.

  • Based on work orders and specifications from our Sales and Solutions Engineering team, deploy Glean instances for customers.
  • Transition Glean instances to or from customers as required.
  • Ensure all deployment automations, pipelines, and connectors are implemented fully so the customer’s first product experience is superior.
  • Coordinate any customer-required actions to fix configuration or technical issues with your Solutions Engineering partner.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues at any level (cloud infra, networking, storage, application) of the instance to identify root causes, directly fix, raise PR’s for fixes, or escalate to engineering teams when needed.
  • When not deploying customer instances, streamline and improve the automation of routine steps and collaborate with product & engineering teams to drive features and automation that will scale the deployment process.
  • Track and manage all deployments, including detailed tasks and their status for all stakeholders.
  • Decommission and dispose of Glean instances when required.
  • Update and suggest improvements to deployment-related documentation.

Who you are

About the Team
The Machine Learning (ML) System team combines system engineering and the art of machine learning to develop and maintain massively distributed ML training and Inference system/services around the world.

In our team, you’ll have the opportunity to build the large scale heterogeneous system integrating with GPU/RDMA/Storage and keep it running stable and reliable, enrich your expertise in coding, performance analysis and distributed system, and be involved in the decision-making process. You’ll also be part of a global team with members from United States, China and Singapore working collaboratively towards unified project direction.

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for ensuring our internal systems are operating efficiently for model development, training and deployment;
2. Responsible for resource management and planning, cost and budget, including computing and storage resources;
3. Responsible for global system disaster recovery, cluster machine governance, stability of business services, resource utilisation improvement and operation efficiency improvement;
4. Build software products and systems to monitor and manage the ML infrastructure and services;
5. Be part of the global team roster that ensures system and business on-call support;
6. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs;
7. Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis;
8. Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures;
9. Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements;

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Computer Science, computer engineering or related;
2. At least 3 years or more working experiences;
3. Strong proficiency in at least one programming languages such as C++/Go/Python/Shell in Linux environment;
4. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containers skills, and have more than 1 year of relevant operation and maintenance experiences;
5. Possess excellent logical analysis ability, able to reasonably abstract and split business logic;
6. Have good documentation principles and habits to be able to write and update workflow and technical documentation as required on time;
7. Possesses a strong sense of responsibility, good learning ability, communication ability and self-drive, good team spirit;

Preferred
1. Engaged in the operation and maintenance of large-scale distributed systems;
2. Experience in operation and maintenance of GPU servers;

As an Associate Data Scientist with The Hartford you will create analytical solutions to enhance the organization’s pricing sophistication and competitive advantage specifically for the Personal Auto and Home lines of business. You will transform large data sets into actionable business insights using predictive modeling and machine learning solutions. Generalized linear models are a core technical component of this role, but you will also work with other machine learning techniques (e.g. gradient boosted trees) and MLOps frameworks. Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

CACI is seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technical Project Manager to join our team of technical and functional experts supporting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Headquarters, Chief Technology Officer Directorate (CTOD), Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology (AI/ET) initiative. This team works with a federal workforce staff with technical expertise for the smooth functioning of high-visibility, department-wide AI initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of capabilities related to Facial Capture/Face Recognition and enabling technologies (e.g. biometrics) and experience delivering those tools as operational capabilities. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and demonstrate a passion for AI technologies.

This is a remote work eligible position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technical Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, performance, and completion of projects related to Facial Recognition/Face Capture (FR/FC) and Language Translation. Duties include all areas of project management, from initiation through closeout to ensure the successful execution of the project’s mission, goals, and objectives. The Project Manager reports to the Task Order Program Manager and works directly with the federal lead for each project.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountable for all aspects of project performance.

  • Provide direction to all project activities and interactions with clients.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Develop performance metrics based on customer requirements; provide assessments and recommendations to senior leadership

  • Manage matrixed functional and technical experts to plan, organize, and direct activities for all projects assigned to achieve project goals

  • Provide project coordination, scheduling, milestone tracking, reporting, external engagement support, and other related tasks for AI Corps Department-wide projects.
