A Lot About You

We are looking for DevOps, Production Engineers (SRE’s) who are problem solvers at heart, with solid ability to dig into code and own the reliability domain. As a member of the PE team, you will work with your developer partners and implement operability improvements, security, infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, monitoring and other system requirements. You will also work in development of tools, automation platforms and intelligent monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production environment at vast scale and their associated infrastructure and tools

  • Support the operability roadmap to improve the availability, performance, scalability and efficiency of the services by implementing monitoring, automation, redundancy, capacity and business continuity planning

  • Work on challenging system and network problems to improve system performance and reliability

  • Implement and maintain monitoring to provide complete transparency to application and system state, history, trends and insights

  • Participation in on-call rotation – drive incident resolution, live troubleshooting and impact mitigation

Basic Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree

  • At least 5+ years experience in GCP, AWS  and Software Development roles

  • At least 5+ Years of experience in web technologies like Apache, Jetty, Tomcat, node

  • At least 3+ years of experience in deploying and maintaining applications in Kubernetes.

  • Intermediate to advanced level of coding expertise in one or more language including Java, Python, or Go

  • Solid experience with writing, understanding and enhancing algorithms, data structures, scripting, and software design practice

  • Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux system internals and tools for troubleshooting application

  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP and networking

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Computer Science

  • Experience in Managing EKS, ECS, helm chart, fluxcd

  • Experience in working with any IAC, preferably Terraform

  • Experience in designing, managing large scale infrastructure in AWS EKS, AWS Open search, multi zone, multi region deployments.

  • Experience with building CI/CD pipelines using github actions 

  • Experience in MLOps 

  • Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux system internals and tools for troubleshooting applications

The compensation for this position ranges from $111,000.00 – $231,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years’ experience, working on projects utilizing Snowflake or Databricks.

Key job responsibilities
