MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in solving business and analytical problems using quantitative approaches, data analysis techniques for high volume data computation and processing, and SQL. Alternatively, must have a Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or a related field and 4 years of work experience in solving business and analytical problems using quantitative approaches, data analysis techniques for high volume data computation and processing, and SQL.

Job Description

• Collaborate with product development teams (game or gamification solutions) to understand the insight and prioritize the analysis needs.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Filter and “clean” data by discovering any mismatches or outliers.
• Analyze data using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. 
• Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. 
• Present information using dashboards and other data visualization techniques.  
• Analyze Jira Data for production process. 
• Point out bottlenecks in production. 
• Analyzing and deconstructing the existing systems in the game balance and looking for improvements based on data. 
• Analyze player behavior, evaluate game performance and report suggestions accordingly. 
• Provide semester full player analysis for each projects. 
• Provide quarterly full data analysis of all the games.  
• Provide quarter list of recommendations based on data for each project. 
• Provide monthly main kpis data evolution for each project. 

Qualifications

Experience:

• Working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst is a plus. 
• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.  

Knowledge:

• Knowledge regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques. 
• Knowledge with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks). 
• Knowledge of Jira (Data, Dashboards, JQL queries). 
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.). 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. 
• Knowledge in project management is a plus. 
• Business Intelligence tools as Metabase or Microsoft Power BI is a plus. 

Skills:

What you’ll be doing:

• Drive timing closure work for DFT logic in our GPUs, CPUs, and SOCs at block cluster level and/or full chip level

• Work on all aspects of timing for DFT such as timing constraints, timing analysis, timing convergence, ECO implementation, and other checks

• Collaborate with DFT and the rest of the PD team to seamlessly move projects forward with new features and methodology improvements

What we need to see:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of experience in Physical design/Timing

• Experience in full-chip/sub-chip Static Timing Analysis (STA), timing constraints generation and management, and timing convergence

• Expertise in physical design, optimization, and ECO implementation e.g. cell sizing, buffering, VT swap

• Hands-on knowledge of industry standard Timing/STA EDA tools

• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as TCL, Python and Perl
   

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with DFT timing closure for various modes e.g. scan shift, scan capture, transition faults, BIST, etc

• In-depth understanding of multiplexed scan logic and constraints

• Knowledge of clocking and clock controls in DFT modes

• Experience in methodology or flow development

Junior Professor of Artificial Intelligence in Protein Science (salarygrade W1) with tenure track to W3 (m/f/d)

 

to commence as soon as possible. This is a fixed-term civil service position. 

We are looking for a dynamic and creative scholar with the ability to work independently and a high potential for development in research and teaching. Applicants should be active and visible in the field of artificial intelligence and structure-based protein biochemistry and complement and strengthen the university’s profile in the field of biochemistry. Future-oriented and innovative research priorities of the successful applicant include for example the prediction of molecular properties such as structure and/or interactions of biological macromolecules, the development of novel methods and applications in the field of AI-/ML-supported visualization and characterization of biomacromolecular complexes and their dynamics, or generative molecular design. Expected are additionally a very good publication record in recognized journals or through conference contributions, the willingness to acquire external funding, and an interest in interdisciplinary collaborations. 

The successful applicant will have the potential for outstanding teaching performance in the field of ML/AI as well as biochemistry and will show willingness for undergraduate and research-oriented teaching in both German and English, teaching export and the development of new master’s programmes. Social and leadership skills and the willingness to be involved in academic self-governance are also expected.

In addition to the general administrative requirements, prerequisites for this position are a university degree, proven excellence in teaching, and the ability to carry out scholarly research (generally demonstrated by the quality of the applicant’s doctoral research). No more than four years should have passed since the completion of the doctorate (date of the doctoral certificate). Exceptions may be made if there is an urgent need to do so (Article 60 para 3 BayHIG). 

The successful candidate will initially be appointed as a fixed-term civil servant for a period of four years and may be extended for an additional three years upon successful evaluation as a university lecturer in the fourth year of employment. The teaching load is currently set at five hours of instruction in the first phase and seven hours of instruction in the second phase. 

The performance agreement, which defines the criteria for the interim and tenure evaluation, is drawn up by the university and the applicant during the appointment negotiations. The agreement shall include criteria in the categories of research and academic teaching, and may also include Third Mission and academic engagement. The appointment to the W3 professorship depends exclusively on the outcome of the tenure evaluation. After successful tenure evaluation, the candidate is appointed University Professor (W 3) as a permanent civil servant. About the Role

You will be part of a growing operational team of product owners that is responsible for up and coming products analytically, monitoring Riskified’s customers’ performance, quick problem-solving and online fraud prevention in real-time. You will take a major part in research, product development, product design and creating automated analytical solutions for both internal and external use cases in a super-dynamic environment, and therefore stand at the forefront of Riskified’s work. You’ll be leveraging your analytical skills and knowledge of our product to provide meaningful insights to our Merchants, Product Managers, Data Science and Dev teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct an in-depth analysis of the most productive ways our customers can utilize Riskified’s solution, including identifying upsell opportunities
• Provide strategic analysis and critical thinking as we plan long-term expansion
• Research and explore data, using high-level analytical tools in a high-level technical environment
• Share deep analysis conclusions and sophisticated technical methods in a clear manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Cooperate with various teams within Riskified (Account managers, Product Managers and Account executives) to enhance processes and meet customers’ needs
• Master the online fraud prevention domain through hands-on analysis of live data
• Working with both local and global (primarily Tel Aviv-based) team members

Qualifications

Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without any Visa sponsorship (including OPTs)

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a data analyst in the tech industry 
• Proven expertise in complex SQL queries and analysis tools such as R and Python
• Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing complex data
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, CS, Economics, Natural Sciences) 
• Problem-solver with critical thinking skills
• Ability to work simultaneously on different tasks and lead multiple projects
• Great written and verbal communication skills in English

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $125,000. This range is applicable to candidates who will perform the job either wholly, or in part, within New York City.
