About The Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you will develop a sleek and engaging user interface in a large-scale consumer web environment. You will play an important role in each step of the product development process, from conceptualization to implementation to release; from rapidly prototyping, running A/B tests, to architecting and building solutions that can scale to support millions of users.

Enterprise Architect is responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise-wide, micro-service, service-oriented, and component-based architecture plans. This position supports development of enterprise architecture strategy, standards, patterns, position papers and engagement reporting.

 

The Enterprise Architect works with Business Engagement, Business Delivery and Solutions Design peers across the Sands properties to support intake of business requests, identifies opportunities to leverage reusable components from existing solutions, evaluates commercial products and considers the investment and resource requirements to develop an appropriate solution.

 

Enterprise Architect conducts analysis of technology trends, vendor/product lifecycles, regulatory conditions, and local market capabilities to determine recommended amendments to the enterprise architecture design standards.  

 

The Enterprise Architect performs regular reviews of proposed solution designs, vetting them against design patterns, defined technology standards, compliance requirements and best practices to ensure a reliable, secure solution is implemented.

Research Fellow (Computational Atom Probe Tomography) at Nanyang Technological University – NTU Main Campus, Singapore


NTU MSE is looking for a highly motivated candidate to join us as a Research Fellow to facilitate the research program in advanced microscopy funded by Singapore’s National Research Foundation and led by Nanyang Assistant Professor Yi-Sheng (Eason) Chen, the PI and a new MSE faculty member. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of project goals

  • Conduct high-quality research and disseminate outcomes in peer-reviewed journals and academic conferences

  • Participate in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate researchers

  • Collaborate with local/overseas research groups

  • Establish one or more independent research programmes under the guidance of PI and other senior mentors

  • Develop competitive funding proposals in collaboration with PI and other senior colleagues

  • Engage in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and contribute to curriculum development and pedagogical innovation

  • Contribute to the development of international and local research communities

  • Support the operation of PI’s research group, including recuitment and external engagement

  • Engage in developing and mainting a safe and inclusive work environment 

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Materials Science or fields relating to computational materials science

  • Good knowledge and experience in atom probe tomography and the related data processing

  • Good skills in programming, including Python, C/C++, and UNIX/Linux operating systems

  • Strong background in code development and machine learning

  • Good skills in working independently and communicating as a part of a team

  • Good attitude in relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Seeking Engineering Interns! We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Verification Test System Design Organization as a Data Scientist/Engineer/Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to analyzing risk to support the development and validation of aircraft engine systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will drive improvements in engine performance and reliability using existing system engineering risk models. 

What You Will Do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models to forecast risk factors in support of engine validation planning. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and other stakeholders to define engine validation data requirements and analyze datasets. 
  • Apply statistical models to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in engine validation datasets to extract actionable insights. 
  • Design and implement data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively. 
  • Develop and publish new knowledge assets within EKS (ESW, K-Packs, GB, training, etc.) 
  • Communicate results and insights to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
