What You’ll Do:
As an AI Product Engineer at STI, you will be a key player in the deployment and optimization of AI and Machine Learning models as part of a new product line related to training and assessment of eVTOL pilots. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to ensure that our AI solutions are robust, scalable, and seamlessly integrated into our production environment.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain production-quality Python code for AI and machine learning applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists to train, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning models, with a particular focus on reinforcement learning.
- Design and implement scalable solutions for model deployment, monitoring, and optimization in a production setting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI model performance, latency, and scalability.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them to improve our systems.
- Work in an agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
What you Need:
- 2-5 years of experience in deploying production-level Python code using frameworks such as Django.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and OpenAI Gym.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Hands-on experience with training and deploying machine learning models, ideally using reinforcement learning techniques.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with full stack technologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as cod (IaC).
- Familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering for machine learning.

For this position we are targeting a base pay between $125,000 – $145,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
