The Product Data Specialist will oversee and manage product data consistency within BFG’s product databases.
Compensation Data: Non-exempt hourly pay starting at $21.00/hr based upon experience.
Travel: 10% max travel throughout the calendar year
Location: 100% Remote
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and maintain all product data standards
· Naming conventions
· Product nomenclature
· Data structure
· Data completeness
Utilize available tools to identify incorrect data within the structure
· Incomplete product data
· Inconsistent pricing
· Incorrect costs
Setup product data structure to use within all business areas of BFG
· ERP item setup
· PIM data setup
· Data sets for e-commerce
· SFA compliant
· VPA applications
· Acquisition integrations
What you will need to succeed:
Education & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar field preferred.
· 1-3 years in a product data role.
Competencies:
- Solid understanding of SXe and Epacube.
- Solid understanding of database structures.
- SQL experience preferred.
- Industry or Distribution experience preferred.
- Participation in local and regional associations.
- Team mentality
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- Self-directed
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
