About
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
About the team
The T&S Evaluation and Investigation team, working closely with the Search team, taking the evaluation standards as the baseline and principles, and manually evaluating the search query and corresponding search results page to reflect the real user experience of the search function.
Responsibilities
– Familiar with evaluation methodology, elaborate independently on the evaluation guidelines, and complete evaluation and investigation according to the business requirements.
– Responsible for the design and execution of evaluation and investigation based on business targets to keep improving overall performance.
– Data analysis and insights/reports generation based on evaluation data.
– Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as the product, RD, and delivery teams to understand business requirements and objectives and enhance the product user experience.
– Keep learning and stay updated with the latest and relevant industry research and investigation.
– Able to design high-quality prompts to improve overall performance and achieve further feature optimization
– Able to work on projects outside core responsibilities that could require different requirements, such as using assessment methods and having flexibility to support related projects.
– Willing to work on sensitive issues including but not limited to child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content etc.
– Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

What should I bring with me?
– Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in journalism, literature, mathematics, computers, medicine, law, and economics
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Knowledge about AI or related models, familiarity with social media platforms
– Strong analytical reasoning, execution, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures
– Strong ability to learn and understand and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Familiar with common office software, evaluating experience is preferred
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
