Summary / Role Purpose
This role will be ready to innovate and explore what’s possible in the world of Process Improvement. Data Engineer oversees driving the collaborations and documenting business opportunities for enhancements. We are looking for a Celonis expert who will perform a hybrid role with skills in both data engineering & Celonis implementation. Exposure to Finance function would be a plus. They are responsible for playing a key role in gathering a deep level understanding of processes and data that will be used to make informed business decisions to find better technological solutions to business needs. Process Advisory uses a variety of tools for analysis, from process mining to traditional process improvement methods to determine the root causes and deliver the best solutions for customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Business Analysts and Business Application Owner to translate business requirements and use cases into technical and data requirements.
- Identify all the source system tables and fields that need to be brought into Celonis.
- Extract, transform and load all source system data needed for each process implemented within Celonis.
- Identify process Automation Opportunities for HR, Finance, and Sales Operations business groups.
- Work with Solution architects and senior developers to Design Data models and automations.
- Build the data model for each process; collaborate with relevant business experts to validate the data.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of all data queries to ensure ideal response times.
- Document all technical and data requirements and all extract, transform, and load (ETL) work; provide ongoing support for any data-related issues.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in working with IT and other business functions.
- Minimum of 1-3+ years’ experience on Process Mining tools such as Celonis.
- minimum of 1 year’s experience in Process Automation using any APA or RPA tools.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent SQL coding experience with extensive experience in ETL processes.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Python.
- Previous experience working directly with senior business leadership translated business needs into project requirements.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems.
- Understanding of databases and networks.
- Process analysis and modeling.
- Process Mining and process optimization.
- gathering requirements and documenting business scenarios as-is and to-be.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Industry knowledge in Process mining Space.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification or process improvement experience.
- Experience in relational databases
- Working knowledge of one or more process mining tools (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining/Process Gold, PAFnow, ARIS, etc.)
- Experience in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
